Gracie Temecula South recently hosted an intraschool tournament between Gracie Temecula, Gracie Hemet and Gracie Temecula South. This tournament is primarily for kids and beginners and is meant to expose students to competing in a safe and friendly environment. Yesterday’s tournament saw approximately 70 competitors. By all accounts, it was big success, and we look forward to the next intraschool tournament at Gracie Temecula. Thanks to Lance for these pictures.
Gracie Temecula South recently hosted a seminar fort the benefit of Professor Ricardo and his ongoing fight against stomach cancer. Professor Ricardo is doing well, but has a long road of therapy and medication ahead of him.
Gracie Temecula will be hosting a No Gi seminar on Saturday, March 17th once again in support of Professor Ricardo. All schools and all belt levels are invited to attend. Thanks to Galvin Logan for these fantastic photos.
Felipe Magos started his Jiu Jitsu training in the late 1990′s. Like of a lot of us, Felipe stopped and started Jiu Jitsu due to a lack of schools in his hometown, injuries, life, etc. But also like a lot of us, Felipe continued to come back to Jiu Jitsu and persevere. Felipe was one of the first students to sign up at Gracie Temecula South and has been training with us ever since. On December 1st, 2011, Felipe received his purple belt. It was honor for Gracie Temecula South head instructor Ricardo Guimaraes and lead instructor Jordan Blanchard to promote Felipe as this is the first belt promotion in the school’s young history. Please join us in congratulating Felipe on his promotion to purple belt.

Gracie Temecula South, a Gracie Humaita affiliated school, had the great honor of hosting Master Rickson Gracie on August 13, 2011. Master Rickson was invited to give a seminar by the leader of Gracie Humaita, Master Royler Gracie. The event was attended by over 100 people, including Leticia Rebeiro, Xande Rebiero, Kid Peligro, Eduardo Rocha, Regis Lebre, Joao “Johnny” Faria, Ricardo Guimaraes, and countless others. We greatly appreciate all those that attended and we look forward to giving future seminars with the some of the top Brazilian black belts in the world.
